Corsair H105 rattling only on startup?

Hi guys first post here as I haven't been able to google anything similar to my situation. I bought a H105 and installed it on my system Tuesday and have it currently installed on the top mount in my case as it should be. However whenever I boot up for the first time in the day my pump makes a horrible rattling sound for about 5 minutes, after that 5 minute period passes it goes completely silent and I don't hear anything more? Should I expect this to pass and eventually have silent boot ups without rattling? I believe it might be air bubbles. The thing that confuses me is why are they coming back every morning when I boot up if that's the case.

cud be 2 things...

ur psu might not be generating enuf during boot which is why its trying to extract more power or the pump unit cud be faulty, failing to absorb adequate power...make sure u clean it properly before making any further assessment...

Thanks for the reply. 1. My PSU is a thermal take Evo 2.0 gold Standard 750w so that should be more then enough to power my system.
2. My cooler is not dirty at all I can't visually see any dust as it is only 4 days old in my system.

Another problem too only one of my radiator fans spins when The cooler is idling, however as soon as my CPU gets under load the second fan does spin up although it's RPM is noticeably lower. Could this be related?

by ur account...it still feel like a poser issue to me...but it cud be an assembly issue as well...
did u build it or some professional shop/engineer???

Yeah I didn't install it myself I admit, I had a reputable PC shop in the area do it, I'm not confident with installing such things myself as a family friend did this build for me and the only reason for replacing my cooler is the last one dying.

so i thought it would be fine. Although when I picked it up from the shop, the staff member doing the install on my PC seemed confused as to why only one fan was spinning and kept rebooting into my bios to fix it, eventually he got it to where the second fan would spin under load and not not spin on idle and said the PC should be good to bring home. Still is this a faulty AIO or sounding like a botched install due to the fan issue also?

BTW all my temps are fine, less then 30 on idle with my 4790k and less then 60 under heavy load.

or might be a bad assembly...
better to do a reassembly by someone who knows the stuff(self/professional)...

Anyone else got an idea what this could be? Also I'd like thoughts on why only one fan runs until I put my CPU under load, even when both fans are running the second runs at a much lower rpm 🙁

if the fans are temp. controlled, then thy are supposed to run as per temp. readings...

Thanks for the help Hellfire, I fixed the fan problem by taking my second fan out of CPU_Opt header and put a y cable splitter in my CPU_FAN header and now both run normally

The only issue now is my pump still rattles for 5 minutes from a cold boot. I have it connected to SYS_Fan 1 3 pin header so this should be fine correct? I shouldn't have to buy a molex adaptor to put it in psu it should get steady 12v from that correct? I think I'll put up with the cold boot rattle for now but RMA if it starts rattling nonstop like my coolermaster nepton did. Just very paranoid due to my last AIO rattling before it died haha.

the connectors are appropriate but the sudden rattling from cold boot is generating a different question in my mind...the quality of this particular unit might not be upto the mark...though H105 is quite popular and renowned...

Yeah I think I'll just wait another week to see if it's air bubbles and report back, it's still less then a week old and I have yet to fix its rpm to the recommended speed as this PC hasn't had an internet connection to download fan software. I will be fixing it's RPM to 1850 today and will report back whether or not the rattle goes away afterwards.
