Hey,

i was wondering what's the difference between those two? Is GT worth 20€ more or should I go with the basic model H110? I can't really find any comparision or difference on the internet. So if anyone knows anything I would be really happy.

cheers

The GT allows for the corsair link to be downloaded and used via the USB link that attaches from the cooler to a USB header. It shows temps of the CPU, mobo, HDD/SSD, etc. Its pretty cool. I thought it was worth the extra so I bought the H110 GT. But I didn't bother buying the H110 GTX version.

The GTX is the revised version which does away with the pivoting 90 degree bends that typically leak once shipped. My H110 GT arrived in good working condition with no visible leaks or air bubbles in the system. It works good, even with the crappy pre-applied thermal paste.

We have similar systems i see, i own the h110i gt if it helps any with the settings i have in my signature.

I top out at around 75c under full load with 1.3 volts and 4.5ghz (silicon lottery matters heavily here, results may very greatly)

Just leaving this here so you can have something to compare it to

Is that all the difference in corsair link? I don't need that, i had it on my old build with h100i but after some time my pc didn't recognized h100i anymore so i had quiet mode and white LED sign all the time. If that's the case I'll just get H110 or is H110i GT better(lower temps)?

you get 75c in stress tests or games? I was thinking to overclock it to 4.0-4.2ghz not higher, because there's no need for it 😀

They are identical aside from the corsair link. It also allows you to control the fan speed via the software though. But if you have Windows 8 or greater, Corsair link may not work. The H110 is all you need. You can control fan speed by your bios anyways.

Hope this helps.

Yes I'm using Windows 10. Maybe that was the problem because when I first got it, I was using windows 7 i think, not really sure but it worked fine at the beggining. Is that true that H110i GT has better pump and fans? I think i've heard that somewhere before. I just want CPU to be nice and cool 😀 I was even thinking of going with Noctua NH-D15 first but I'm not sure if air cooler would be good enough?

I was using the Phanteks PH-14TC air cooler before I bought the H110 GT. It worked well enough for me to overclock my i7-3770k to 4.5ghz stable up to 78C while stress testing with prime95. I was unimpressed so I upgraded the fans to some Noctua PPC 3000rpm 140mm fans and that alone dropped the temps 10C testing on Prime95. But it was so freaking loud! I grew tired of the noise after I few months. So I upgraded to the H110 GT and used the Noctua PPC fans on the cooler. Temps reach 60C while stress testing @ 4.7ghz @ 1.26V using the H110 GT with the Noctua fans. I'm very impressed with the unit.

I also had Phanteks PH-TC14PE in january with FX 8350 and I was at 46-50 degrees while playing BF4. Damn those are some low temps for such high speeds 😀

I do like to keep temps low but I'm on the extreme side of things. I keep ambient temps @ 65F (18C) and I have upgraded the other case fans on my Throne case. I also duct Air conditioning to the intake fans in the summer 😛. lol

I was happy with the Phanteks PH-TC14PE. I used that for two years before I replaced the stock fans. I just got the bug again and have been adding/upgrading things to my system each week.

Hope this helps G-star.

75c is while stress testing, under absolute 100% usage for give or take half an hour in prime 95

In gaming i pretty much never break 60c
