Do you builders use the thermal compound that is already on the header? I wonder what type of compound Corsair used?
I think it will be okay to use. Why would Corsair use a compound that would cause damage or problems? They would`nt be able to keep the product on the market if the stuff did`nt work.
Do you guys use the stock thermal compound that is already applied? How did it perform?

The stock paste on the Corsair coolers is fairly nice, no problem if you want to use the stock paste.
There are some that can give you a 1-2C edge (which some people need, such as Arctic MX-4). If you arent scrounging for the last C out of your processor, the stock paste is perfect.
