corsair h150i temps

I have a corsair 150i 360 aio installed as exhaust in my case and in pubg and other games the temps are around 62c with spikes to 76c and in prime 95 26.6 the temps are around 77c. Is that normal?

I have the same CPU cooler and it works great for me...In order to really understand if the temps are a problem, could you let me know what CPU you have and at what speed are you running...also your case name would help...

Ambient temp is 20c (68f) The case is an nzxt h700 and the cpu is an i7 8700k running 4.7 on all cores at 1.25 voltage.

Those temps are just about right running all core 4.7GHz on the 8700K. Yes you will get occasional spikes and around 60 degrees in gaming and sub 80 degrees in Prime95 version 26.6 is about right. I have to admit, mine ran a bit cooler but I am using a H500P Mesh case which has 2 x 200MM fans bring air in and the 360mm AIO installed in the top blowing air out the top...

It might be worth reinstalling with new thermal paste something like MX4, Thermal Grizzly, Noctua or Gelid GC extreme to knock another couple of degrees of and maybe just to check if the installation is good as there is a small difference but you are not too far off...

On a side note, I finally delidded my 8700K using the Thermal Grizzley liquid metal and dropped 18 degrees C across the board!! Yes it was pretty terrifying but turned out to be much, much easier than I thought it would be and took about 30 minutes....Has been well worth it as I now run a 24/7 4.9GHz at 1.278v overclock and even with Prime95 version 26.6 small FFT's I am under 80 degrees C...in Blend test mid 50's to 60 degrees...

Just a thought for the future...
