I know the H50 comes with pre-applied Thermal Paste, but would it be worth it to remove that paste and use the Indigo Xtreme interface kit instead? Would it even fit properly?
Well the indigo extreme is the best but it is pretty pricey. Also the stock paste is supposed to be Shin Etsu which is great also. I have the corsair H50 since it first came out and I love it.
getting the H50 and using that very expensive paste is like buying a Geo Metro car and putting $900 super sticky racing tires on it. Use the paste it comes with, it'll be fine.

But he is right. Actually, when i take off the stock TIM and replace it with AS5 half the time the temperatures go up! So i think it would be better just sticking with the stock thermal paste because they made it very easy to do.
You wont have to re-mount it 6 times to get the best results.
EDIT:
@XMSYellowbeard
Do you have any relation to the "yellowbeard" from xtreme systems? I dont think so, just wondering.
I have one and i found the secret, apply the paste to the cooler and not the cpu because when you do, it will lower the temps by around 3c. I applied it to the cpu and got around a 20c increase.
