Hello folks,

I've just received a corsair H55 along with my new motherboard ( Asus Maximus IV Extreme). Im trying to set up the backplate case so i can mount it to to my motherboard and the frame doesn't fit properly (almost at all) with the wholes from my motherboard. btw yes im using the right backplate, which is for my intel i7 LGA 1155 and not the AMD backplate. Has anybody experienced that before? any recommendations please, as I'm sooo frustrated and cant carry on with setting up my machine.

I guess (from what i read) that if is an intel 2011 does not require the installation of the backplate.

Thanks in advance.

i have tried and still doesnt fit on it as there is only one way to mount it. one whole only doesnt fit which is weird.

Are all the little screws (the silver ones in the picture) in the LGA 1155/1156 holes?

Yeah the thing is those little holes don't line up with the holes on the motherboard! So annoying that they advertise it works with Socket 1155. Unless it's just this particular board? (P8-Z770V LX).
