Hey everyone,

Right now I'm looking at the H60 and it's on sale on amazon, and have been thinking about going to liquid for awhile-mostly to reduce noise, not too concerned about overclocking potential. But the main question here is; will the hose on the H60 be long enough for me to mount the radiator at the front of my case (NZXT H440). I guess I really do have other options in terms of mounting location, but I'm pretty set on a front mounted radiator. Also any suggestion for closed loop coolers in a similar price range are more than welcome.

Thanks!

Depending on what cooler you have now, the H60 will be LOUDER not quieter. Also, it is not better than a $25 air cooler in terms of cooling performance. I strongly recommend a Coolermaster Hyper 212 EVO. Better all around at everything. (cooling, noise, value)

No the radiator will not make it to the front. You do not want the radiator on the front anyway. Then it would be blowing hot air INTO the PC. You want it at the rear as an exhaust. Again, I do not recommend this cooler though.

Thanks for the input, I've been looking into things and do see that tons of air coolers work great for much less, specifically the one you mentioned I had actually been looking at. Guess the flashy marketing of liquid coolers has been kind of pulling me in. In regards to what you said about a front mounted rad, I was kind of thinking it'd be better to push/pull cool air through the rad rather than pushing warm case air through it? With all that being said I likely should just save the cash where I can and pick up an EVO 212.
