Corsair H60 not cooling well?

I've just bought a Node 304 case and thought I would buy a H60 for more a sufficient and quieter cooling solution.

The H60 sounds like a jet engine starting up when I play a game or do anything intensive. It fluctuates when idle but I've checked the temperature of the CPU (i7 4770k @ stock speed now) and it seems to be around 37-42 degrees. It goes up to around 55-60 degrees when playing a game such as Counter Strike. I used Arctic Cooling MX4 thermal paste for the CPU when installing the H60.

This is the same layout I used for mine.

I mounted the radiator and fan to the top of the case rather than on the back side by the I/O.

This is the first timed I've used watercooling in a build; currently the stock heatsink is quieter than this H60. Anybody know how to fix?

your temps are good (could be better but depends on ambient temp and case cooling), when we talk about the noise is a bit less noiser than stock (8db +/- ) , so if you see more noise on h60 something is not right with installation of cooler maybe , check again the installation .

The problem is... The H60 is just not a very good cooler. Corsair AIO watercooling kits are typically very loud, and the H60 being the budget option. isn't going to be as refined as the H100i or H110. The H60 also cools worse than air coolers at the same price range (Even the 212 EVO cools better), which should explain the temperatures you're getting (Although your temps aren't horrible). The only thing you can do to fix this is to buy a quiet fan such as a Noctua for $20

I have coolermaster tx3 evo and I barely hear them .

yeah but my temps are the same as he and i have an amd cpu (with 100w ) , not bad for amd cpu but for intel i don´t know but i think there should be lower , and his cooler is not so different as mine so it´s strange .

I'm guessing that you have the H60 V2, if you do, then I'd have to agree with what's been said above. That stock fan can get loud when running full bore (2000rpm). If you want, I can send you a toned down version for you try. Just let me know.

As for you temps, they aren't horrible but maybe you could drop them a couple of notches. if you have the fan in Pull right now, try doing Push as it may help a little.
