When having the fans connected to the cpu block they do not start up and the fan control is not available for use neither does it light up. I have the 3 pin connector plugged into my 4 pin cpu fan. and the molex into the power supply. The pump it self works witch is powered on from the molex. i am currently running 47-50 C temps with one fan working that is plugged into the mb. Is there a reason the fan control is not working along with fans when plugged into it? please help ,thank you

I don't know exactly how the H80 works but my H70 has a Splitter for the fans that allows me to connect them directly to the same motherboard 3 or 4 pin connector. The pump should be connected to the CPU fan 3 or 4 pin connector on the motherboard. I can't imagine think of any good reason to use separate connectors for the fans because they need to be running at the same speed for optimum airflow through the radiator.

Try running the fans from the molex connectors and plug the pump directly into the motherboard.

It sounds like you may have your fans plugged into the block wrong. Re check the pin orientation and try it again. You could also reset the h80 and see if that solves your problem.
