Hi guys, I'm about at my wits end and need some help!

I've just upgraded my computer to a Ryzen 2600x on a MSI X470 Gaming Plus motherboard. I wasn't happy with the temps I was getting so decided to install a Corsair H80i v2 cooler and as soon as I've booted it up temps have gone through the roof!

Originally I thought it was down to me not applying the thermal paste correctly so re-applied but the problem persisted. Did a little more digging and it seems you have to change some settings in the bios but I can't see where to do it! On the Corsair website is says:
1. Connect the 3-Pin pump connector to the 4-Pin fan header marked "CPU-FAN" on the motherboard
2. Boot the system and enter BIOS
3. Locate the FAN CONTROL section of the BIOS
4. Set the "CPU_FAN" to VOLTAGE CONTROL
5. Set it to 100% to ensure that the pump operates at 12V
6. Press F10 to save and exit the BIOS

I've found the "Hardware Monitor" section in my BIOS, but can't see how I set the CPU FAN to VOLTAGE CONTROL??

Solution
That's most likely a dead pump. If you have it on the AIO_PUMP header, it should be getting the power that it needs.

I would start the RMA process.

The fans on the radiator are spinning, they're going into overdrive! They're connected to the pump via the 2 connectors, then the pump is connected to the CPU-FAN connector. However, in the BIOS the only fan that shows any movement is the front case fan which is the only other fan I have connected atm.

OK, for your motherboard you have a pump plug so you can use that. The pump plug is the one in the top right near the RAM slots. The top one, not the second one. The plug should be able to detect that a pump is connected to it and use PWM mode, which would provide the full 12V without doing what Corsair said to do. Your pump should then be the one controlling the fan speed, so I don't know why they are running full speed AND your temperatures are high. You never actually said what your temperatures were.

Ok, I plugged it into PUMP_FAN1 and went back into the BIOS > Hardware Monitor and doubled checked it was set to PWM mode, which it was, however it made no difference, CPU and PUMP still read 0RPM and the CPU is currently sitting at 76 degrees (and climbing) in the BIOS! The fans on the radiator are going full pelt and if I touch the pipes I can feel one is warm and one is cool so it seems to be pumping ok, but this is my first AIO so I'm new to this!

I already have, it's all connected correctly. Surely its got to have something to do with the fact the fan is showing 0RPM?

In hardware monitor click the cpu 1 (is fan),change the setting from PWM to DC if possible this should give voltage control, see that you set it at 100%.

I think you might be right.

Corsair Link shows the fans on the radiator spinning but reports the CPU fan as 0RPM.

I've started an RMA and hopefully resolve the issue with a replacement.

I think your pump is bad. You might need a replacement.

CPU fan speed at 0RPM is normal because you don't actually have a fan in the CPU_fan plug anymore. However, the Corsair link software should be telling you what the pump speed is AND the fan speed. If the software is showing 0 pump speed but maxed fan speeds, then your pump is bad.

@gasaraki he already did go for rma,
