Corsair H80i Fan and pump performance modes.

Does anyone else find that setting the fan and pumps in Corsair Link to performance mode doesn't make any difference to CPU temps?

Pump is generally at max all the time. Your fans could be running at max if you are stressing CPU. 3rd reason could be that it takes a while on water before temps go down. Water has to be cooled down first.

I believe the pump can be set to quiet mode or performance mode. For me on quiet mode the pump is operating at 1800-1900 rpm and when I set it to performance mode it runs at 3000+ rpm. My fans seem to be running at 960 rpm idle but only go to 1100-1200 rpm at load, perhaps that is the max for the balanced setting which I have the fans set at currently.

"Water has to be cooled down first" Does's seem like a possibility, I may set things to performance mode and run Prime 95 for a while.
