Corsair H80i GT vs Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo

I currently have a Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo cooling my i5-6600k at 4.5Ghz. Is it worth it to uprgade to a Corsair H80i GT? What are the temperature differences? My case is a Corsair 200r. Thanks.

Honestly doubt you will see a huge performance difference, not worth the $$.. I run a 212 evo and sit at 26-30c idle & 50-60c prime95.. Thats on a 6600k @ 4.6ghz 1.325v.. You might see a 5c difference if your lucky.. Honestly better off saving up a little more and going with a swiftech which is much better than h80 or h100 etc..

My 6600K runs at 50-53 deg cel at 4.5Ghz playing modern titles. And for the price, come on, the 212 EVO is a no brainer.

Not everyone has the same thought process when deciding what the correct move is. The H80i GT can run quieter, be semi easier to install and subjectively have a better aesthetic all in addition to cooling better.

Regardless, for the money on the budget cooler market the Cryorig H7 is hands down better than the 212 Evo for a small sum more.
