Question CORSAIR HD RGB Fan LED Controller how do I connect to motherboard

I don’t know anything about it but my pc case came with a similar controller and is used to control the rgb without using the motherboard. I’d guess this is similar.

Yes, this item is the MANUAL control box you can connect to the actual RGB Controller Box by Corsair that your fans are connected to. Normally it is used only when you are NOT making a connection from that Control Box directly to a mobo RGB or ARGB header and NOT using the iCUE software utility with Corsair hardware.
