Corsair HX750 fan screeching

I got this PSU because of the 0 RPM fan mode. When the computer is idling or im not doing much on it its quiet as hell. When I do anything big on it the PSU fan kicks in and I hear a screeching that is a bit louder than any of the other fans by a bit. Could this be caused by something I am doing wrong with the PSU or am I going to need to RMA this and hope the next one doesnt screech?

I have heard of this issue with some of the HX units.

They shouldn't get that loud , RMA it.

I hope I can get a they send me one and then I send the old one back kind of RMA. I really dont want to be without a PSU for a week while it ships. Thats the only reason im hesitant at this point.

True , but the PSU fan shouldn't be that loud.

You deserve to get a new one.

Corsair does have an advanced RMA option, it does require a credit card. I imagine it is so if they don't get the old one back they charge the card for the replacement unit.

Awesome! Already sent in for the RMA. I really like the PSU since my desktop is quiet as hell now that I put that in and started using speedfan on the other fans.
