I have bought the corsair h110i gt originally thinking to planning to put it in a Corsair Carbide 300r, I found out that if I wanted to fit it in I would have to either figure out how to make a computer work without a motherboard or cut a big hole in the metal mesh on top of the case.

So I'm going to return the corsair 300r and find a new case. Now I'd like to know if the corsair vengeance c70 can accommodate the h110i gt. The motherboard I'm using is the Asus Z170- A. Also is there any other cases that you can think of that would work and are better value for money? Also my power supply is the XFX 650W XXX Edition 80+ Bronze, will that fit inside?

thanks in advance!

For one thing, I know that the C70 chassis by Corsair has been discontinued and is only available as spare parts across Corsair's site. You could be able to find it on Ebay or other retailers but since it's discontinued, should something go bad with the chassis within your warranty period you're going to have to move to another chassis again. How much are you looking to spend on your chassis?

I'd suggest you look into Corsair's Obsidian 450/750D and that should be able to handle more than the round of today's hardware's. Do note, you're getting better support for SSD's on the suggestions made above. Further reading.

ATX PSU's will fit...

Thanks for the reply, I was looking to spend less than £100. I started off with a corsair 300r before realizing my mistake so I'm already spending more than I planned. I saw the 450D was around the same price as the C70, other than the fact that it's only available as spare parts, what advantages does the 450D have over the C70?
