So I have 5 HD 120 RGB fans and I have the lighting controller thing with 6 slots for rgb fab headers that is connected to one of the two slots in the other Corsair controller device which comes preinstalled in the case (Corsair SPEC OMEGA RGB). The second slot is used for the led strip on the front of the case. Before I installed Corsair icue, all 5 fans lit up and the led strip was normal. But after I opened icue for the first time, only the fan in slot 1, slot 2 and half of slot 3 lit up. I find it really strange that only half of the fan lights up. The fans in slot 4 and 5 work but they don’t light up. Also the LED strip on the front of the case has this weird effect where it sort of has two rainbow waves going at the same time instead of a nice clean effect like it had before I opened icue. Haven’t seen anything directly related to this issue before so some help would be awesome :)

Solution
When you open iCUE, your lighting effects should be able to be configured in the device page. So on the home screen, look for Spec Omega RGB and click on the tile. Then you can go to lighting setup and set up your fans. When you add devices in iCUE to the lighting channel, it'll open another tab on the left that says Lighting Channel 1, and there you can setup your fan lighting.

Solution
so my gf has this case, spec omego doesnt show up for us, but going to the node in iCue and changing the number of fans/led strips to incorrect values fixed this (i know great solution) but it works totally stable so far.

i hate iCue, great idea, but it just does weird stuff so so much in my experience.
