Corsair K55 RGB Membrane or Corsair STRAFE Mechanical (Certified Refurbished)

Hey community,
I'm looking to buy a new gaming keyboard for under $60. I have narrowed my choice down to two different keyboards, the Corsair K55 RGB which is a membrane keyboard and the Corsair STRAFE which is mechanical, but with only red backlighting and is certified refurbished. I really don't care too much about the mechanical switches, as I have never owned one before, but I would like to start an experience with one. As far as I am concerned, the STRAFE should be of higher quality, right?
What's your opinion?

I wouldn't pay $55 for a membrane keyboard just because it has RGB lighting. I would get the Strafe, mechanical is really nice.

here is an option (i just purchased this one actually). mechanical, great reviews, no number pad. but it does look like you want one with lights... in case you dont though... heres an option!
