The ongoing problem with the otherwise most excellent Corsair keyboards are the key caps. They are uniformly cheap and wear out all too quickly — namely the black paint on key caps wears off both in the middle of letters and along the edges. This happens even with the space bar. Actually, I'm not too sure about quality overall. My Corsair K70 RBG MK.2 didn't even last 10 months; fortunately they replaced it under the warranty. The key caps ... that's a whole other story. They just wear out all too quickly, some lasting 4 to 6 months before showing signs of wear and tear. Corsair's tech support people have been quite kind replacing the key caps, but now that the keyboard is out of warranty I think I'm going to have to buy some double shot PBT key caps. Unfortunately, the K70 RBG MK.2 doesn't have a standard spacebar and some other keys are not standard — so I'll have to stick it out with the original Corsair key caps. I have found that putting Scotch tape over them helps preserve them — but, seriously, a little quality control from Corsair, please.

In the past few months I purchased the Corsair K70 RGB Pro Cherry Brown keyboard, and I couldn't be more pleased with it. If anything, it feels sturdier than the $200.00 Corsair K95 keyboard I purchased years ago. I'm not a "power user" or big gamer, but I think that Corsair keyboards are of excellent quality and I have NEVER had any problems with them. As the saying goes 'You get what you pay for." Hopefully. 😏 I only use Corsair RAM sticks and mice. As has been pointed out, their customer service is extremely good also. I'm glad that the Tom's Hardware reviewer of the K70 Core RGB generally liked the keyboard, but... I mean a "con" for a "Sweaty wrist rest"? Really?🤨

Might be worth mentioning that this keyboard DOES NOT come with the wrist rest by default. The version available at Best Buy and Target does not have it. You can get the wrist rest version from Corsair, but it costs $109, not $99.
