Hello, i recently bought a corsair K70 LUX RGB with cherry blues. Was very satisfied with it until today, it died (not completely cuz you hear the usb inserted sound thing when you plug in a usb).
The thing is that it is my main keyboard. Now it isn't recognized in the corsair utility engine. When i plug it in, a windows explorer window pops up with firmware.bin located in CRP DISABLD (J:).
Physically no led lights, doesn't pick up commands but, USB passthrough works fine cuz i plugged my other keyboard in it and wrote this message. So, i tried several things like plugging it out and plugging back in, plugging the keyboard out rebooting the pc and plugging back in, uninstalled the corsair utility engine and did a fresh new install. Still no success. All I can say is HELP!!!

Can you please pass on your full system's specs inclusive of your OS and chassis? Have you made sure your BIOS and chipset drivers are up to date? Without the CUE app, have you tried seeing if your keyboard operates as a standalone keyboard? Without the app you should manage basic keyboard functionality. On another note, have you ruled out a faulty keyboard by taking your Lux Keyboard over to a friends place to see if it runs sans the CUE software? You can avoid your friends place and run it off a laptop in your household.

@Lutfij this was long ago i got the new rapidfire rgb now but still thanks for replying. Actually i got the rapidfire rgb, not for the lux but i bought it after sending the lux back to the dealer as a part of the warranty and they haven't got any stock yet so no lux rgb till now. So my problem is partially solved but still do answer as this might help other people that might come across this thread.
So specs:
i7 6700k
Msi z170 m7
geil superluce 2x8gb 2133mhz
corsair h80i gt liquid cooler
strix 980ti and kfa2 infin8 980ti sli
hx1200i
240gb ssd crucial and 1.5tb of storage
windows 10pro 64bit(pirated version XD) upgraded from windows 7pro 64bit but I'm getting windows 10 pro cd.
yes everything is up to date.
Yep tried working it without firmware or cue but no success.
yep it is totally faulty cuz when i took it to the dealer it did not work in his computer as well.
lets keep this hush hush that after a few days of buying it my bro spilled a huge amount of water on it. I thought water did not get in cuz the switches are sealed to the board but did not know there was space for it to get in under the spacebar. So after a few hours the keyboard started acting weird as the left and down arrow kept pressing by themselves. When i turned the keyboard upside down i witnessed a waterfall in a keyboard. I immediately unplugged it and removed the remaining water also opened up the keyboard to dry out the water and also kept it under a fan for the water to dry completely and it did. So later it was functioning completely fine until one day i switched the pc off from the wall and keyboard was no more. Might be a short? :/
