I just opened up my beautiful Corsair K70 RGB, followed the instructions and plugged it in, downloaded the software, and asked for a firmware update. I allowed this for a few minutes, until I realized it was stuck on 3%. So, I aborted the update, and tried to mess about with all the lighting options, but unfortunately, I was unable to create, or even access the PROFILES tab. So I disconnected the keyboard, plugged it back in (with the Corsair software still open) and my keyboard changed from the previous red and white to a rainbow, solid, not moving. So, the software once again asked for an update, I allowed it, and once again it was stuck on 3%. I waited about 10 minutes, and then the little windows changed to the following text: "FIREWARE UPDATE
K70 RGB
Your device did not successfully update. Please try again by selectin Update Firmware for your device and then choose Force update from the server". I cannot access the PROFILES or the DEVICE tab (inside settings). Please help, because of this I cannot update the software. I typed this on the keyboard, so it works fine apart from being unable to use the software and update.

Solution
I have resolved to problem. Basically, all I did was restart my computer, run the CUE and boom it updated normally. I can access everything now, but thank tical2399 for the help!

I have the k95 rgb. Make sure both plugs are plugged in ( the k95 rgb has 2) and make sure they are p;ugged into usb 2.0 ports. I always have this issue if im plugged into 3.0 ports or if i only have one of the two plugs plugged in

Could you copy and paste my text from the solution and post it so I can select it as a best answer?

Cheers mate!

No prob

Plug one or both of your USB cables to USB 2.0 Ports instead of 3.0. It worked for me.
If it didnt work, do the same but put polling to bios (back of keyboard) and try to upgrade it in Safe Mode with Networking.
