Corsair K70 RGB vs Logitech G710 Plus

So after dealing with what was supposed to be a temp chiclet keyboard, I've decided to throw some cash at a good gaming keyboard. I narrowed the choices to the Corsair K70 RGB and the Logitech G710 Plus. Main criteria was Cherry Red or Cherry Brown switches, non function key volume controls, USB port, wrist rest and back-lit. Sadly the pure red of Corsairs non RGB series just looked annoying so I upped the price range to include the RGB series.

Could anyone with hands on experience with these keyboards give me their opinions on them?

Concerns with the G710 Plus is that comments I've seen with cracked keys over time.
Concerns with the K70 RGB is comments I've seen about poor QC on the LEDs resulting in dead LEDs as soon as a few days out of the box.

I would recommend the K70 RGB red or brown cherry mx. Its arguably one of the best keyboards out there. Additionally, i would rather use cherry mx than a "better than rubber dome" by omron. Even though omron does make very high quality switches.

Furthermore, the K70 does everything the G710 does but with cherry mx.

The G710 and G710 Plus use cherry mx switchs, blues and Browns respectively. Its the only reason I didn't just jump on the K70 RGB. I'm just paranoid about LEDs going on with the K70. All the comments I've seen on Logitech's customer support has been stellar, Corsairs not as much.

I personally have a g170 +, pretty good keyboard, have had zero issues with it and had it for 2 years. I love the brown switches with the rubber dampening which lowers sounds.
But Corsair does have the best stuff out nowadays and their backed with good warranty.

I have also heard about cracked keys on the g710+ and logitech being painful to deal with just to get 1 keycap replaced.
Haven't heard anything like that with corsair.
The k70 is also way easier to clean as you dont have to remove the keycaps to clean it, but you do with the g710 due to the design which risks you cracking the keycaps.
I'd personally go for a mx brown k70 rbg. The RGB lights are awesome (g710 only has white) and the keyboard just has a great quality feel to it overall.

Thanks for the insight. Have a friend who loves his G710 plus but I didn't think to ask about the cleaning of it.

No worries, yeah it's because the g710+ keys are like in the keyboard if that makes sense. Whereas the k70's are like sitting on top of a flat surface so you can just tip the keyboard on its side and most of the stuff will come out

I may have to go in the direction of the G710+. I played with a K65 RGB in Best Buy today, and unless the K70 has larger keycaps there's no way I could use it.
