Corsair Link cooling system

I have a second hand PC with some Corsair hardware already installed. I have a Corsair Obsidian 900 case, commander box, two corsair splitters and 2 x 4 Corsair 4 pin fans installed in my radiators. Commander box is connected to Asus Rampage IV Extreme motherboard and commander 1 cable goes to 1st splitter and splitter supplies 4 inlet fans, 2 cable goes to CPU, 3 cable goes to exhaust fans. I downloaded Link 4 software and while it sees all my components temp. it can't see my fans and I can't control them. What am I doing wrong? Please help.

Do you have the Commander Pro or the Mini? It'd help if you could shoot us a pic of how you're connected.
