corsair link Losing control and readings of H80i after putting computer to sleep

I bought and installed my new H80i GT along with corsair link (software only). I started having problems from the start with corsair link. this is the one i cannot figure out.

Every time I put my computer to sleep i lose control and readings from my H80i. the temp and fan speed meters are still there but i cant control them nor are they receiving info from the cooler.
the only way i can get it to work again is to uninstall it then re install it then reboot, but if i put the computer to sleep it gets messed up again.

So - if you wake from sleep, then Corsair Link doesn't respond?

Google shows you need to shut down Corsair Link to be able to get your PC to sleep.

I did do this, but its not that it doesn't respond because it opens ok.

it turns out that the 7289 USB device driver somehow gets messed up when sleep is initiated and i have to Manually update it. This way i dont have to re install all the time. Now its just a matter of fact if I can find a permanent solution.

You have the latest Corsair Link version right? it should be 3.1v

Do you have the option checked where Corsair Link runs on Windows start up? try to untick that and see if the behavior changes waking up from sleep.
