i bought the corsair rm650 and it has corsair link and i want to know if i have to buy that corsair link usb adapter to use with my pc?

Yes, you'll need to get the Corsair Digital Bridge (i.e. analog to digital converter) device. The RM650 only outputs an analog signal on its C-Link port and the motherboard's USB port only accepts a digital signal. The Corsair Digital Bridge will convert the analog signal from the PSU into a digital signal that is acceptable for USB input and use by the Corsair Link Dashboard software.
