Corsair Link USB Cable in AX1600i PSU

Hello, just opened the box and found that the cable is missing. According to the Package contents, it should be included. Am I correct?

What is the cable for? Can I use the PSU without it?

It is for using Corsair link to monitor and change PSU settings. It will work without it. Contact Corsair and they should send a replacement.
