If you want to manually overclock that kit is worth its very fair price.
It just means it will work on Ryzen based systems which tend to be pickier than Intel systems as far as RAM timings go.As long as that's nothing to do with the performance of the kit, then it's fine with me, because I m considering getting one of them later in my build.

My results on a B450-i strix with a R7 3700x just show that the memory modules themselves are capable of quite good overclocks.
I dont know if that will work on a B365 board. Its 22 nm and rather dated tech because its just a refresh of the 100 and 200 lineup. I would personally not use such a board. Shame that you "hate amd" otherwise a b450 board and lets say a 3600 would perform quite good for their price.

The mainboard is compatible with Ryzen 3000 with the latest Bios versions. But the board needs to come with that or you need an older Ryzen to flash the Bios.
The most easy way would be the purchase of an MSI Max board like the MSI Tomahawk Max. Those are guaranteed Ryzen 3000 ready. Or you buy a used b450 board like I did and ask the seller for a Bios update before shipping.
