Recently i came home and found my mouse hanging off the side of my desk i assume my dog knocked it over or something when he ran past my desk, but i went to get on my computer and noticed that the mouse wheel was dislocated/ out of place. it wiggle around and wont stay in one spot and it wont scroll on open browsers. I dont know the exact type of mouse i got it was a present all i know is its a corsair with 9 programmable keys. Any help would be wonderful thank you. If you want any more specific details just ask and ill do my best to answer them.

Solution
Sounds like the wheel broke free. It is generally a shaft that runs through the center of the wheel and there are sensors beside the wheel that the shaft runs through that detect the rotation, if the wheel no longer stays in place it sounds like that is broken, the best solution will just be to get a new mouse.
