I am going to the store in 30 minutes and will be buying one of these systems. Which one is cools better, more reliable, upgradeable, noise, etc. Thanks so much. 😀

First of all it's tuff when you give a 30 minute deadline when you are asking for assistance. No offense but you won't get much help when you apply unrealistic requirements to your questions.

Now, if you have not left yet for the store, the Nautilus would be my recommendation. I have two and they both perform great. Temps on my FX-55 are 28C idle/39C load and my X2-4600 is 30C idle/38C load.

The Naut on the FX is modded with a danger den blackice rad and the other is stock.

Hope this helps....oh, and reaches you in time

I looked at the blackice radiator also...does it has the exact size tubing as the corsair? And the reason why there is a deadline is because microcenter is 40 miles away from me and I have the time to do it today.

If I do get the corsair, will the blackice radiator just lower the temps even more?

Thanks so much.

The Corsair is 3/8 tubing and the coolermaster is 1/4 tubing. And yes I have heard of people installing another Black Ice radiator along with the Corsair system. In short a system with a 80mm radiator and 1/4 tubing or a system with a 120mm fan and 3/8 inch tubing I think the winner is clear cut here.

Here is a link to the mod. http://forums.legitreviews.com/viewtopic.php?t=6397

You can expect a drop of between 2 to 5c results may vary depending on other factors. However, if you are stressing your cpu 2c can mean a great deal.

The mod was fairly easy to do. I did follow the posters recommendation and ordered the type G fittings and they fit up well. I aslo failed to mention in my previous post I modded the fan as well with a silverstone 9 blade 120mm fan. More noise but that will also get you a few degrees drop in temp.

Lastly, I meant no offense as I said regarding your 30 minute deadline. Hopefully none was taken.

well i am late but they are both suck ( I used to praise the corsair kit), i own them both (i have the Aquagate Mini R120 not the 80), there is no way that the corsair cools 500watts . I've had it on a D805 and a D915.Both the cpu and waterblock are lapped and polished I did the pump mod and replaced the fan with a silverstonefm 120 with the raidator mod. I dont have the 90° fittings though cause it wouldnt fit my case anyway. after all the mods it kick's A** but then it kind of defeats the purpose of getting an all in one.
I think there are better choices out there IMO good luck......

and Temps on the D805 @ 4.3ghz were before mod 72°+ after 66° load.

Ok...just a thought.

But microcenter also carries dangerden cooling kits. But would I be better seved to buy one of them as apposed to buying the corsair and modding it with the other parts. I have no idea. If so their websit is microcenter.com any ideas or suggestions are greatly appriciated. My budget is about $200

All said and done it's $160 for the kit, $35 for the rad/fittings and $19 for the fan. That's a bit over $200 US. I don't believe you could come close to that with a DIY kit composed of parts from Swiftech or DD. However you would get better performance without a doubt compared to the all in one kits.

Phreejak and others can be of more assistance to you in that area. I recall a recent post reply by Phreejak on another thread where he praised the all in one kit as a good entry point for those just starting with WC.

Manufacturers claims are often, shall we say, inflated. But as for the Nautilus the proof is in the puddin. My FX-55 (clawhammer core) won't go over 39c whilst being beaten up by P95.

And there is no better pudding then my setup your fx 55 has nothing on my D805 blowtorch @ 4.3ghz it should be somewhere around 300watts (if at 4.1 its @ 259 watts) and its at 70°c. If a dared to put my 7900gtx in the cooling loop I thing my pc would melt.
I would go for something from danger den , I got the 1/2 black ice radiator (using the pump adaptors)because I was going to swap everything over to custom build. The one thing is the corsair has a pretty good pump in it already. I have not pursued the custom build because I have contemplated using a peltier setup so doing more research.

Way back when I did have a big water 745 kit from TT, and it did a better job cooling, but it lack of quality destroyed a video card . another viable source would be gigabytes wc kit, heard good things about it.
