Corsair PSU Compatibility

Hello, I was wondering if the Corsair Axi or Hxi series power supply units would be compatible with the Intel core 6th generation CPU's. I am new to pc building, and thank you for your time!

With the caveat that some older model PSU's and cheap, garbage models on the market aren't compatible with Intel's latest low power states and can cause the computer to hang in sleep mode.

So...your assertion that "any atx psu will work with any setup", is not accurate. There are still some on the market that will not work. The ones the OP listed will work, but not "any".
