Corsair PSU faulty ?!

Hi everyone,
I've noted this there is one year. When I built my machine...
The CPU power connector of the PSU has a different form compared to motherboard entry for CPU, too.
But, when I pressed the power button, the machine worked fine, so I forgot this.

I've quickly done a comparison between they.

It will be fine. The 8 pin slot is also suitable for 8pin EPS power connector. The one in the picture is 4+4 pin power connect and they have similar output voltages. Nothing to be worry about.

It's a 4+4 8 pin CPU power .It's splittable for boards that only use 4 pins.

Perfectly normal.
