Question Corsair RAM no longer detected by my system after installing new GPU

Hello, I recently installed my new Rog Strix 3060 and after installing it it was all good, I then put my PC to sleep some time later, then turned it on a couple hours later and my RAM is no longer detected. I don't understand why this has happened and what it has to do with a new GPU. All my components are fine, its just after I installed the GPU this has happened.

I'm running a Ryzen 5 3600
16gb ram
Gigabyte B450 Aorus pro motherboard

could you still run your pc normally now?

This is a random guess. I would reseat the cpu just encase the cpu/cooler was knocked while installing the gpu. Then after going through the expansion and contraction of heating and cooling maybe it’s no longer making contact on all cpu pins.

But this has nothing to do with my CPU, its my ram that isn't being detected

Nah man, after posting that I forced an update on my ram and that seemed to fix the issue. But the next day I turned on my PC and the problem has returned.

could u boot just using 1 ram only at any slot? try to test all the ram on all slot and see which causes which.

It could. Only takes a cpu pin that links to the RAM to not make proper contact and it would look like a RAM problem. This is all a guess though.

Damn, I'll try the ram thing and see where the problem is
