So I am thinking of buying corsair fans since they look awesome. I looked up how to setup it up properly and I've seen some motherboards have a corsair slot compatibility. Do, do I need one as well? I have a AX-370 Gaming K5 Gigabyte motherboard
As long as you get the multipacks of the Corsair fans, you won't need to have the motherboard RGB connector; the multipacks will come with everything required. If it's an HD or SP fan multipack, they'll will have the RGB LED Fan Hub and a push-button controllers. The LL and ML RGB Fans will come with an RGB LED Fan Hub and a Lighting Node Pro. With the LNP, it'll connect to a motherboard USB header.

Im getting the LL120 RGB fans and a Corsair Omega Case that has the node pro already in it. That enough?
Yes, you'll have everything that you need. The Node Pro will connect to a USB header on the motherboard and you'll control the RGB via iCUE. Have a read-through of that FAQ. It'll answer just about any question you have.
