Corsair RGB Pro ram matches?

I have an Appointment Asus Rog Strix z390 Gaming E motherboard. From what I understand the qualify memory listing does not state this ram matches the motherboard. Does this memory I recently purchased work at all? CMW16GX4M2C3000C15. https://www.bestbuy.com/site/corsair-vengeance-rgb-pro-16gb-2pk-8gb-3ghz-pc4-24000-ddr4-dimm-unbuffered-non-ecc-desktop-memory-kit-with-rgb-lighting-black/6256222.p?skuId=6256222 I am worried I got the wrong ram and if I do I have to go back and exchange to 2400mhz LPX version. I hope this ram is okay. I just don't wanna make a mistake. Help a PC gamer here please.

You should be all set. The QVL lists are rarely updated and never complete , too many modules on the market.

ASUS MultiCore Enhancement option in the BIOS. Disable it to use Intel's default Turbo speeds should I do that if O don't want it overclocked? Any affect on PC gaming?

I'm running i7 8700k it's rated speed is 2666mhz and my ram speed is 3000mhz. Have I made a mistake here? Other people are saying I slightly over clocked it. What the hell? I have it set on XMP profile 1.
