Corsair RM 550x

I want to make sure that I’m not cutting it short with my 550 watts with my system. My gtx 1080 is arriving today and I’m wondering if my psu is enough for it along with my i7 8700, 16gb of ram, Gigabyte b360 hd3 motherboard and 250gb ssd among with monitor and fans?

I also have a 550W Corsair with the GTX 1080 and you won't have any issues concerning power delivery.

The RM 550x will be enough for your system.
The I7 8700 has a tdp of only 65W , if you overclock your 1080 its power consumption should be around 200W.
Your total system power consumption in full load won't exceed 300W, so the RM 550x being a great quality power supply will handle that with ease.
