[SOLVED] Corsair RM550x (2018) Question

I'm connecting cables to my new PSU Corsair RM550x and I have a question. This PSU has 2 8-pin connectors on it, labeled "6+2 PCIe & 4+4 CPU". Does it matter, which of the GPU and CPU cables I connect to which connector? I don't want to burn anything.

I mean connectors ON PSU. I know where to connect GPU and CPU cables to motherboard

You'd know in the future that the GPU cable is connected to the left connector and the CPU to the right one.
