So i just bought the Corsair RM750x and im aware the fan will start running when it reaches over 350W.

At the moment, I'm running Dark Souls 3 and Im pretty sure my GPU (R9 390) will push up the wattage when in use.

The fan isnt running?
Or does it need certain temperature?

System is :-
4770k On Thermaltake NiC C4 Cooler.
Maximus VIII Ranger
8GB Ram
2TB + 2TB HDDs
R9 390

That PSU does indeed have a 0db fan mode, so you won't see it turn on until the capacitors or coil start to heat up a little. Please be aware that the internals are rated for 105 Celsius, so even if it reaches around 50 Celsius it will be fine.

Also, judging by the PSU Tier list here http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/id-2547993/psu-tier-list.html your PSU is either a tier one or tier two, so I wouldn't worry about the build quality of it.

How long do you reckon I keep on my game and PC to see if the fan is supposed to work as they should?

Also, even if the fan doesnt work.
do you think the psu will blow up? O_O
