[SOLVED] Corsair RM850 PSU click startup/shutdown

Hi guys, I just bought this PSU like 1 week ago and I just realized that when it boots and when it shut downs, one clicky noise (just one click) comes out from the PSU. Is it normal? Some people say a "relay" (dont know what is that xd). Thank you

It's the relay switch , it's normal , if there was a constant clicking all the time that would be an issue.

Hi for your answer mate, do you know any site where i can read more about this? Every unit of this model does that? I mean the click noise.

Not every model , but some do it but you just don't hear it. I have a TX650 in one of my older setups that has done it for years , it's still running.

Okay thanks.. im scared anyways, i mean it looks like a normal sound because its right in the moment it powers ups and fully shutdowns. But never hear that
