Question corsair rmx 2015 vs 2018 differences

are there any diffrence between corsair rmx 2015 and rmx 2018 ? beside the slight adjustmenets in size and connectors ? any quality improvements?

so it seems that it's just more compact and a second EPS connector. as much as i love silent PSUs ' for me it's a little bit unpleasent that the fan doesn't run at a very low rpm even at low loads. at 400-500 rpm i don't think it's that noticeble at all ! and that would decrease temps by a bit. i never noticed the fan running once on my unit

yeah it would be great if u could turn ON the fan even at very low RPM . i wanna ask you if you hear any electrical noise with the ear right next to the PSU when the fan isn't spinning at all ? i use it on 230V outlet , no coil whine or anything but with ear right closed to it there is a low level electrical noise even with the PC off

Why? It's an 80 PLUS Gold efficient PSU. It's barely generating any heat at all.

it did generate heat as i touch it and it was warm. but now i have an exhaust case fan instaled and it doesn't get warm anymore at all . anyway i have it for some months now and didn't notice the fan start even once . used it with an rx 570 sapphire nitro
