Corsair RMx 550 or RMx 650?

Hello everyone,

I plan to build new pc and I decided to go with corsair rmx series, but I am not sure which one to choose, rmx 550 or rmx 650. I know that for this build rmx 550 is more than enough but everything is in fans. It keeps fan turned off bellow 50% load and I like it because silence. But I think, maybe rmx 650 never turn it on here, is that bad for unit or not?

ryzen 1600
b350 prime plus or x370 pro (will not use 2 graphic)
1050ti (maybe upgrade later)
ssd 250gb
external 2.5" usb hdd
nzxt case with 2 or 3 fans

Even with Rmx 550w you will hardly ever see the PSU fan turn on with that GPU (and I'm talking about gaming, not only sitting idle at desktop). 550W is more than enough for all your needs. But of course, if you can afford 650W and intend to add a more powerful card later (while still expecting silence while gaming) than it might be a reasonable choice.
