Corsair SP120 High static pressure fans have higher cfm than AF120?

Okay, I’m thinking about buying these fans but the specs between these two don’t make any sense to me. And I know the difference between Static Pressure and Air flow but this doesn’t make sense if you look here:http:// It moves 57.24 CFM vs the Airflow which moves 52.9 CFM:
http:// which doesn’t make sense because usually airflow fans have better cfm and the fact that the first fans have static pressure means it pretty much makes the AF series obsolete. I mean the only difference that I can tell is it’s about 1DB louder.. Something I’m missing?

The AF120 you linked are the quiet edition. Meaning they sacrifice CFM by turning at a lower RPM for reduced noise. If you compared a standard AF120 to SP120. The AF120 has higher air flow. In an open air situation. In a restricted flow environment the SP120 quickly gains the advantage. If your case has air filters or a lot of restrictions you will want the SP120.

For example at just 0.8 mmH2O. The SP120 still delivers about 50CFM while the AF120 only delivers 10CFM. Unless I had an open air case. I can't picture ever choosing the AF120 over the SP120
