Corsair Strafe Space Bar Removal

I've bought some o-rings for my Corsair Strafe and got all of them applied fine, apart from the space bar. So me being the stupid man I am, thought the 2 side switches were dummy switches like the ones on the shift, backspace and enter keys. It was being really stiff, so I kept yanking (something in my mind didn't tell me that I may be doing it wrong) and then I got one side free after snapping a tiny piece of plastic. Crap. That's when it triggered that I wasn't doing it right, and I think it may be too late. I've tried to get the the left stabilizer back in place but it just isn't having it. It's really raised compared to the other side and when press firmly on the left side makes a bad clicking noise. When the right side is pressed (after the left press) it sounds as if something clicks back. The key still works, but I'd like to get this fixed because it just doesn't feel or sound right.

I know I'm probably the only one to have made this mistake, but does anyone have any suggestions for a fix? Or possibly somewhere I can get a replacement space bar for it (preferable a non textured one)?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance.
