Hi Community

I know this is the same as my other thread but I am building a new Gaming PC. The specifications to it are as followed. Will a Corsair TX 850W be able to support 6970 CrossFire X along with my other hardware i want to get or do i need to get a different PSU?

CPU: Intel i7 2600
Memory: 2x4GB Kit G.Skill Ripjaws-X DDR3-1600
Motherboard: Asus P8Z68-V Pro
HDD: WD Caviar Green 1TB
Graphics: 2x HIS ATI Radeon 6970 2GB CrossfireX
PSU: Corsair TX-850W
DVD: LG SATA DVD Burner

Solution
The 850TX is more than enough for 2x 6970 in CF. Even on water you wouldn't be able to overclock them to the point that they'd be drawing enough power to strain the 850TX.

EDIT:You could run them off a TX750, or any other quality 750w PSU.
