Corsair TX650 + 4-pin motherboard?

An earlier thread said that the Corsair TX750 had breakaway cables that will fit onto a 4-pin motherboard connection. Will the cables on the TX650 work the same way? Mine have a 6-pin and a 2-pin on the same cable.

So I need to find an adapter between the 8 pin cable and the 4-pin motherboard connection? It seems to be a hard item to find...

1 x Main connector (20+4Pin)
1 x 4+4 Pin CPU = 4 or 8 pin < Should be split 4x4
8 x Peripheral
8 x SATA
2 x Floppy
4 x PCI-E

What motherboard do you have ?

I just saw a video on the Corsair site showing me how to split the 8 pin connector. So simple but I never would have tried it! Problem solved -- thanks for your help
