corsair value select ram not working(booting)

hello, i just bought a 4gb value select ram stick and with it my pc won't boot and i can't even get a post. with other ram installed with it, i can get in the bios and see the new ram stick, but now when booting i get a bsod.
any help is apreciated

Thanks, i've tried to update it just now. Unfortunately i destroyed my raid 0 partition doing so... I can only hope that my ram will work, will try it asap.

unfortunately i did loose everything... but my ram now works by itself but not when i use it along with my other ram...... so i can't realy use it as it is only 4gb while i already have 8gb.

Mixing DRAM can be and often is problematic, if you provide mobo, CPU and model #s of the DRAM, might be able to come up with settings where they might play

That would be great, i have an asus maximus vii ranger, a pentium g3258, nanya nt4gc64b8hb0nf-cg, kingston 99u5471 4gb and the new corsair cmv4gx3m1a1600c11.

Thanks, it now boots but after loading windows i just get a black screen.

And it now does that same thing with my normal ram/settings....

Please help me fix this problem because i can't get windows to start up anymore, have already tried disk repair and all kinds of things

Sounds like the sticks just don't want to play together, happens all the time, never a good idea to mix DRAM. Might want to reset the CMOS and go back to the original setup

I already reinstalled windows. Again... It kept getting the bsod, but how did my memory settings messed up my windows copy even with a repair?
