Corsair vengeance 2x4gig 1600mhz faulty or needs setting for custom build ?

Hi I bough new ga z77z-ud3h motherboard , corsair vengeance 8gig ddr3 1600mhz and icore 3570k my computer keeps freezing very often I just assembled all the components few days ago was wondering if I have to input setting for ram in my bios or something ? Why is it freezing everything is brand new also ran memtest it's passed. I really and silent screaming in my head every time it freezes . Please help me also all the drivers are upto date . i would really appreciate any help

I'll start with debugging the RAM.

How many sticks of RAM do you have? 1x 8GB? 2x 4GB? If you have two sticks, try running it with one stick at a time in different slots on the motherboard. It could either be a bad module or a bad slot. Do your usual tasks and see if it freezes. Then do the same for the other stick.

Have 2x4gb I will try that today and let you know how I go



No luck tried both one by one still kept freezing ?
