Hi all, I'd want to add 16x2 GB Memory to my PC. I already own 16xGB (Corsair Vengeance 32 GB (2 X 16 GB), DDR4, 3000 MHz, C15) and I found on a store the same memory but CL15: is it ok to pair them? Are they the same? (
On the Corsairsite I didn’t find any memory with CL, just C14,15,16 etc..)
Thanks for the help

I think the the kits are the same. Same tech spec in all part. Same frequency, timings and voltage. Also the same code with just the letter W (=white) at the end CMK32GX4M2B3000C15 vs CMK32GX4M2B3000C15W
the only difference is CL15 vs C15

It could work, but it also could not work. Memory is cheap right now. I would buy a single kit of all the memory you need. Then either sell or keep for spare your old RAM.

But, why do you need so much RAM? Are you sure you need that much? Very few applications would utilize that much RAM.

Even if it was the exact same kit, you cannot guarantee it will work. I would figure you have about the same chance as it working with the kit you picked out. Best practice is to buy a single kit of the amount of RAM you want and do away with the other kit.
