Hello.

I'm sorry to ask another question but I just purchased my RAM and I've received it. However when I looked on the box I noticed it only says:

"Supports Core i7"
"Support Core"

Nowhere does it say it supports AMD. I was wondering if it'll work in my system seeing as I already purchased it and returning it would be a hassle.

CPU: AMD FX 8350.
Motherboard: Asus Sabertooth 990FX R2.0
RAM: Corsair Vengeance DDR3,1600-16GB KIT

RAM Model Number: CMZ16GX3M2A1600C9

I tried using google but I wasn't able to find any answers, I was hoping that someone here is able to help me out.

Best Regards,
Hexicidal.

You can also download cpuz and it'll tell you the other profiles for the ram. XMP is an intel thing, you have to manually set it if it doesn't work, but usually it defaults to the correct specs. I'd still use CPU-Z to check everything and its free.

Thank you for the information, let's hope it works.

Will do, I'll probably have the rest of the components on Saturday. It won't have any issues detecting the memory though, as in displaying it correctly in windows IF I use a 64-bit operating system right?

Nope, what will prob happen is you'll install, it will defauly to 1333 (maybe 1600) then you just find whatever profile mix the mobo uses (XMP, DOCP or EOCP) and go through that for 1866, if any problems (hopefully not) than a small adjustment up on the DRAM and/or MC voltage should stabilize things (some mobos still having problems w/ 8GB sticks) no big deal, I'll be in and out over the weekend
