I bought a Corsair Vengeance DDR5 non-RGB kit last year(5200 MHz) and got another recently(5200 MT/s). The serial numbers for both sticks are the same: CMK5X16G1B52C40A2-CN. But they are visually different. The older one is matte dark grey whereas the new one is glossy black. I forgot the Cas latency of the old stick (It stuck beneath a Thermalright 140mm Air Cooler so I can't check it without taking apart the whole system) and the newer stick says the Cas Latency is 36-36-36-76. I've enabled XMP profiling and both are working as 5200MHz RAMs. But iCue software is saying that the modules are using different profiles(EXPO and XMP) thus the performance manager tab is not available.
1. Is there any way I can check the CL without removing the stick?
2. Could the new stick be fake or counterfeit? How can I check its authenticity?
3. If they have different CL yet the same Bandwidth, will there be any issues in the future?
Please let me know what should I do. Thank you
