Hi, I am building a completely new system, and have bought an Asus Sabertooth x97 m1 mobo, intel i7-4790k processor, and an evga 780 ftw gfx card. I want to spend a max of 200 on my memory, but am unsure of which ones to get. I want either 8 gig or 16 gigs, I don't care about the stick sizes, but cannot decide the best memory for my build. Help please. So far I am torn between Corsair Vengeance or Dominator memory, but if there is a better choice let me know :)

I'd go the GSkill Tridents in 2x8GB - freq depends on what you do, I normally start w/ 1866/8 - but your combo can take most anything. Pricewise the 2133 and 2400 Tri's are generally right near the same price so can pick up the extra bandwidth they provide

^I agree. The Trident X are excellent RAMs. Since you got a good budget for Memory, I'd advice 2133/9 if your focus is mainly gaming. They can do alot of other stuff as well:

Memory: G.Skill Trident X Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR3-2133 Memory ($179.99 @ Newegg)

A 2400/10 would be even better if you wish to do CPU intensive tasks like rendering/ desgining/ etc:

Memory: G.Skill Trident X Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR3-2400 Memory ($189.99 @ Newegg)

Both are good value for money and I'd prefer them over Corsair Dominator Platinum, they're a bit over-priced IMO.
