corsair vengeance k65 startup issue

Hi,

I am having trouble with new keyboard, when i turn on my PC it loads the bios then does nothing then when i press a key it will then start up and load normally.

Is this a setting with the keyboard my old keyboard never did this?

If you have an old PC, you might have to connect a PS/2 keyboard and enable USB recogniton in your BIOS.

No its only a year old my old keyboard was usb too.

Well if your old keyboard was USB and worked fine, I'd pinpoint the problem to the keyboard. You'll likely need to RMA the current K65 you have. I've had both the K65 and the K70 (which I use now). And both have worked on two different computers, both able to enter and navigate the BIOS.

hmm OK i can access the bios fine basically it takes me to the initial boot screen and from there i need to hit a key then i can either go to the bios or let the PC boot normally. Its very odd.
